  3. I just completed a quilt for my daughter using your 5 & Dime pattern! I linked to you on my site after I posted pictures and blogged about it. Thank you for writing such a wonderfully beautiful yet simple pattern for us beginning quilters!!! I just wanted to sing your praises! 5. My daughter and I are VERY beginners; you might even say we are pre-beginners. We bought the Five and Dime pattern and we bought the fabric and we bought the cutting mat and the ruler and the rotary cutter...and now we are scratching our heads. Everyone else seems to just know what it means to "square up" our stack of six fat quarters, but it's Greek to us!

  6. If you are a pre-beginner, I agree the instructions would be confusing. I think if there were pictures associated with each step would definitely be of help.

  7. I made this quilt a couple of years ago for my husband, all out of Texas fabrics and hung it in our entry way. Compliments abound, and now his best friend wants me to make one, king sized! HELP!! I need to know how mnay fat quarters to buy. I'm not too good at figureing out the yardages.
    Can you help please?
